fact of the day:

of the 6 different species of camel, four live in central/south america.

one of these is the vicuña.

it’s sort of like a llama or an alpaca but smaller.

and this one doesn’t bite! i bought it in ten thousand villages awhile ago, for much more than i can afford to pay for something useless…

(but i have a weakness for alpaca-like creatures.)
